I just saw that, too.  Cry

Just had quad bypass surgery earlier this year, too. I knew he was up there, but I didn't realize he was 70. Holy cow.

Rest in peace, little buddy.

That's sad.  Sad

How many of you remember:

Denver also played the title character's beatnik pal, Maynard G. Krebs, on TV's The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.

Bob Denver, better known to some as Gilligan of the 60's TV comedy "Gilligans Island" has just died at the age of 70. I guess he's sailing that ol' SS Minnow to that desert island  in the other world. ghe will be sincerely missed.

I remember him too as the beatnik buddy before he was the Little Buddy.

To paraphrase Dickens, It is a far far better place he goes than he has ever gone before . . . .

He will be missed by all who remember him.
