[26-Jul-2005] Viking Valiant for sale and is "Collector Quality" and near musuem quality. No scratches on the face or case. Inside is better than original with polished chassis and coils. Electrolytics have been changed. Aligned to specs and tested on the air with reports that acknowledge the broadcast audio quality that this vintage transmitter produces. As-is but not DOA. Tubes removed and labeled for shipping and includes manual. Contact Chuck Hurley, K1TLI. E-mail: scorebrd@verizon.net Ph: 508-965-7400 Best offer over $1,000 plus shipping. Photos available via email

From the ARRL Radios on line Website.  What a price for a Valiant.

I'll rush right out and buy it. Wink  I'd like a Valiant but not that much.

I have yet to hear a broadcast station that sounds as bad as a stock Valiant.  Tongue
