In my neighborhood they are offering fiber optic service right up and into the building. It blazes along at incredible speeds and will hopefully kill any chances for BPL in this area. Feel sorry for others who may get stuck with this bad technology though.

The BPLosaurus is on it's way to extinction. BPL is a pipe dream. 60Hz power lines are just that. You can't get near the performance out of all the 60Hz lines criss crossing this great country that you can get out of one fiber optic cable.
