    Never got on the air this Thanksgiving. Was planning to do the Homecoming Weekend on 3885 with the W2VJZ "Empire Buster" (yes I have it) Johnson Kilowatt (sans desk) but got sick and felt like crap. W2VJZ used to be one hell of a pain in the ass! Irb W2VJZ who regulary held 3885 hostage went all out on the holidays. Christmas was "CQ CQ CQ The Greatest Story Ever Told. Peace on Earth Good Will Toward Men". Irb was a huge pain in the ass in his later years but today I actully miss the guy. He held 3885 for AM (and himself) for many years. One of the great bizzaro hams of all time.

He was also very accomplished at infuriating some folks.  I found it pretty funny that people would continually attempt to debate him to no avail.

I miss the conversations Irb and Bob/K1AJL had in the morning.  Sometimes they seemed like they were not talking to each other but just talking at each other.
