Hello AM Lovers,
This afternoon my wife and I were sitting back house.
The weather were very good, many Sun and good temperature.
I thought lets try if I can hear AM on 15 and 10 meters.

My xhdata D-808 on the table...... I were totally surprised!!
Because I heard AM stations from the Usa and UK.
Time between +/- 17.30 - 19.30 Summertime by us (15.30 - 17.30 GMT Time)

N1WRK? on 29010
V1CRW? on 29000
G3? on 29025
G3? on 29040
W2VW on 29010

All received with the xhdata on the 'whip antenna'!

I made some recordings with my mobile phone, see below.
Perhaps you can copy the calls?

Greetings,

Henk / pe1mph

Hi Henk and Steve,

Steve, I called you on 29010 today 3:28 p.m. Eastern time, but apparently you could not hear me too well. Shortly after that, I connected with Joe KA1BWO in Idaho for a good QSO. I worked the FM repeater HB9HD in Switzerland earlier on 29.650, not too successfully also.

Hello Steve & Tom and other AM Lovers,
Thanks for your reaction!
Some years back I heard on a morning AM station (Chuck) on the same little radio!
But never before I heard AM on Ten meters on that radio....

Read: Big signals on 3885 khz! Cheesy
See: http://amfone.net/Amforum/index.php?topic=47930.0

Another AM lover in The Netherlands, sent me info about the recording, see above: 29010 khz AM
He wrote, it can be W0PBH?

Sorry I could not get his call correct, yesterday. Cry

Hi, hi... I heard W2VW talking about a wire in the trees... hi, hi....
At that moment I heard him 'loud & clear' on my little radio, standing on our table.
We had last days very nice weather, but the expectation is.... we get: rain!
I hope the conditions on 15 and 10 are not gone....

Oh by the way, yesterday afternoon I heard on my little radio....
Very strong the Usa Repeater on 29640, a pity no FM on 10 on this radio....
So I listen in AM and then a few khz near the freq. Roll Eyes

Call:
G3? = G3YPZ on 29025
G3? = G3YPZ on 29040

Greetings,
