Very Dramatic!   Grin

Only heard some SSB at 21.412 MHz
Haven't heard any AM on 15 meters since early Spring.

Hi Dan..when it comes to either 15 or 10mtr AM..the comment "long time no hear" applies..Pete hit the nail on the head as my last contact was G3YPZ on 4/20/24 on 21.420 AM..wondering if ur up to giving it a go..?..my yagi is always pointed east most days and yes I do check both bands for any AM activity daily at least several times if not more..occasional SSB on 412 & 435 heard but that's about it....let me know if ur gonna be calling CQ and when..I'll swing it around..

I monitor 21.420  when I'm in the shack .  The heat drives me indoors about 11 AM  Pacific time.  I havent heard much.   Some FT8 beeping,   PW SSB,  No AM .. I call when I think there is a chance for contact.. Keep on keeping on....  Gud Luk   Steve

Hi All..yup just like yesterdays FB opening on 10mtrs..worked John G3YPZ just after he had worked Kevin N0BQV with his Johnson 500..nice signal Kevin on the back of Mr Mosely..now John wasn't quite as brilliant as he was on 10mtrs ystdy..however even though he reached S9 and slightly over..he told me he has been working VK6BZ I think if I got the call right on 10mtrs in the very early morn for us..anyhoo der this band is for sure open again..BTW all this just 30 mins ago..

Hi All..since most of you know the activity has been happening on 10mtrs AM..however ystdy was a different kind of day..it started out with a big bunch of Europa AMers on 10mtrs..I ran into G3YPZ in QSO with VE6CQ but a lot of interference going on..John suggested to Rick they try 15mtrs..I went there too..on my end John was 5/9 but because my rotor has gone kaput I didn't hold out much hope I cud swing it Ricks way..but I made it halfway (350 degs)and we had an enjoyable 15 min QSO on 21.420 AM..I told Rick I wud e-mail & clue him in on VK6VZs activity on 10mtrs..for him it turned out a success !..
So even though ya might think the 15mtr band holds no openings..ya just might be surprised..
