OK, its not AM but a good example of a SSB radio the military version of the KWM-2 this is one I just went thru and was real clean. Too bad Collins never thought to put carrier injection so you would be able to run fake AM like a lot of the later SSB transceivers. The video is on You Tube:

That's a very nice FRC-93.  Finding and operating equipment that's been put away and now becomes a time capsule is a treat.
