Have a T368 with a strong 2nd harmonic output from the pto heard in receiver. Pulled the second buffer tube and its still there indicating its coming from the pto. Replaced both 6BA6 tubes in the pto---still there. No trap adjustments. Any ideas appreciated--Thanks Roger WA3YTM

The PTO has a second harmonic.  It is critical that your tune/load settings are set by the book using the tuning curves.  Failure to properly set in accordance to the curves will result in a significant 2nd harmonic output.
I made the tuning mistake when operating on 160m and thankfully an AMer came down ftom 80m to let me know my 2nd harmonic signal was tree top tall throughout New England.
