Several weeks ago I asked for some information on conversion of the Gates BC1T to 75M. I didn't receive much information so I documented with pictures and text the conversion process that I used.

I'll be pleased to try and answer any questions. https://w4ami.org/macks-restoration-bc-1t

Thanks so much for saving another Gates from the scrap yard!

Nice take on doing it, too.

Great job, like that you used a auto transformer for the HV control . I did that with RCA that I built up for 160. Noticed you used a huge  (0.01) plate blocking capacitor in the PA, any reason? also you may want to look at second harmonic if you are still hitting the 833 hard. They wont require as much drive at 375 watts as it would at 1 kW.
Now if we can get someone who will do a dual 833 at forty.

This plate blocking cap was standard in my Gates. I would think it would be easy enough to move this rig to 40m with a bit more work on the neutralization circuit. Let me take a break for a bit and I may think about doing that.
