DR-250 tube from long ago..

Hi All..posting here because I looked everywhere I cud but no luk..found an unusual tube in a box I bought at our local mom & pop flea mrkt..made in USA by General Electronics..outline.?.cannot find as oldest book I got is 1944..sorry no ability for a pic either..it's a 4 pin type wide spacing on base (metal)..pins are .185 ea..measures 10.125" high..at the bulbous glass part it's 3.5" across..one pin protrudes from glass envelope approx 2.25" up from base..there is another very short pin exiting the base 1.0" up from base..plate cap on top is .360"....somewhere on a site I saw it listed as DR/DA-250..?..I looked on Franks tube site and it does show a DA-250 as a triode no DR-250..fairly big on RF output..guys/gals what was this tube used as and is the DA-250 the correct one..?..a hint of it's value wud be great too..no intention of selling just call it curiousity..wud make a fine prop for a mad scientists labs movie.....thank you  73 de DAVE WB1EAD

General Electronics prefixed the majority of all the tubes they offered with the prefix "DR". So, a DR-250 is really a 250TH, a DR-304TH is really a 304TH, a DR-811, is really a 811, etc.
So look up the specs for a 250TH and you have your answer.

Hi Pete..well now that's interesting..ya know I did look at that company's name on Google but did not dig too deep as of course the GE we all know came up first..thanks for ur info !..yes I will research the 250TH..only thing in my curiosity file is what the tube "outline" wud be designated as..?..TNX AGAIN  73 de DAVE WB1EAD
