FYI,
Not wanting to leave anything to chance.

Set up
Voltage read with Tektronix 465 Oscilloscope
One end of choke grounded at signal generator, and scope probe ground connected at signal generator end.
1.900mHz signal fed into input side of choke with Tektronix Type 191 Signal Generator with frequency checked with frequency counter.

For two 3-400Z tubes at approximately 60 ohms input impedance.
Ameritron FILRFC30 Filament Choke 15uH 30 amp 1.8-30 MHz

Using 1K Ohm Resistor @ 1.900mHz and a 5k ohm Carbon Potentiometer

1K ohm Resistor
Input side of resistor 5.2v
Output side of resistor 1.2v

Using Pot 600 ohms @ 1.900mHz
Input side of Pot 5v
Output side of Pot 2v

FYI,
This is the original filament choke for the Swan Mark 1.  Clearly shows the 3rd winding wound in the space between the bifilar windings.

This is exactly what I suggested. It should work if the impedance is high enough.

When I get it wound, I will measure the inductance and test it.   I was relieved the Ameritron choke tested so well.
