I'd like to try to search for a FREE 250W B'cast AM transmitter. One more shot at owing one. The Raytheon RA250 is too much cabinet and weight. There are some transmitters that are not BEAUTY queens that would be acceptable. RCA / GE made something that resembled a refrigerator that had really nice audio. The huge over-built TXs are beyond me and my son's (16yr old) ability to handle with one of those appliance hand trucks.
Just taking a shot...........one more opportunity.
