The AM QSO Party WAS scheduled for February 12th, as reported by ARRL in QST. 

Since this is only one week after the REA/iNetRadio AM Rally Operating Event, the AWA AM QSO Party has been rescheduled for September, as documented by Joe Fell, W3GMS, on page 50 of this edition of the AWA Journal:
