Anyone have plans to monitor and call CQ on 6 meters this summer?  Going on 4 or 5 years and I have only made one or two AM contacts on 50.4 (outside a regular Sunday evening schedule I have with WA4BWO).  It certainly isn't from a lack of trying during openings!  Lots of CQs until I am blue in the face.  Makes me wonder why I bought a 6 meter beam!  Undecided

Dust off your 6 meter gear and call CQ!  Grin

During the June VHF contest  (June 12-14) would be a good time to try, although most are on SSB, but I also monitor 50.4. If the band is open point the beam toward Chicago.

There is 6 meter AM net Wednesday nights in the Chicago area, that is probably what you heard.

Alec has a big signal into CT sometimes. I think he runs a net down there.
