Great job on trouble shooting these 608 Sig Gen units, I will make note of your work on them.
Mine, were nice working units although, I need to check them out and see, they have been sitting a couple years now.
One of mine is also a "Military" unit, I always liked that the meters are labeled  "NUCLEAR ELECTRONICS CORP"...

Mine is a TS-510A/U. As I recall it appeared to be a version between the 608 C and D model manuals I obtained.

My Military unit is also the TS 510 A/U model, on the little nameplate. That's the one with the cool "Nuclear Elec. Corp." meters. The manuals I have, one is an HP 608 E/F, the other is an old "A.G. Tannenbaum" copy of the HEWLETT PACKARD model 608A & 608B. So...I guess I don't have the 608C & 608D manuals. Its nice to see I'm not the only one who has held on to these things.

Those are very good HP resource links, looking through those it reminds me of other older HP equipt. I need manuals for....like my rack mount crystal oscillator unit and....
Well, now we have the HP 608D manual available, very nice.
