I didn't know there were different degrees of badness with meters  Cheesy
A picture would help.
Any info on the meter face indicating "full scale" current? I would suspect there are numerous meters used in Cobra models along with other manufacturers, which use similar, if not identical meter movements. Can you take this "very bad" meter apart? Is the inside meter plate removable?

Pretty much all the rounded meters will work out of any of the cobra radios.

Be aware that some have a plastic removable scale while some don't.

Ebay is your best bet.  If you are really hard pressed for a meter, I can ask around.  I know a few people that own shops.

A LOT of times if you play with the set screw on the cobra / Uniden and President radios you will free the meter assy up.

Hello: The meter is rusted on the inside and has some kind of corrosion on the inside, no good ready for trash can. I really need a good working one, I have looked on ebay no luck. I could buy a old radio and remove the meter, but I don't think we want to pay that much.

Thanks John

I will ask again:

Check Ken's Electronics for CB parts:
https://www.kenselectronics.com/index.html
Or just Google Cobra meters or Cobra CB meters, etc., etc.
