I suppose it could be a distributed amp.

Which is all new to me. Not new, but new to me.

Not sure I see it... there is a toroid that couples one tube to the next.
It's in the little round tan thing in the middle of the tube line...

Also, a lot of piston trimmer caps, i think inconsistent with a distributed amp??

Dunno.

Trimmers at each device are usually inconsistent with them. Tuning is, if anywhere, usually at the input and output rather than at each device. Well it was a thought. Was hard to see what was going on in there.

Building the LV power supply... dual regulated overkill. Coarse reg then a fine reg for the Q-Bit amplifier...

Voltage test jacks, LMB box for shielding, and teflon pass-thrus for power in/out, vent hole.
Tentative layout in the open box pic... it's similar but different now.

Oh yeah - it's a "vampire design". Everything hangs from the top of the box!
That's so that it can come out, need be for service by just pulling the top, which is usually
the bottom of the box... also the adjustments and test points needed to be on top.
