Is anyone planning to bring a source of Propane People Heater thing to the Fester? So far no one has stepped forward. Does anyone have one of those 360 degree people heaters? The camp fire is out so we gotta come up with alternate heat. Tina got a Keg of Sam Adams & I'll bring along a CO2 dispenser so we don't waste any beer but the heat problem is still up in the air. We can use a gas lamp also. It gets dark fast when they will not let us build a fire.

Mark, K1RGB is working on something involving an old propane burner, a satellite dish and some lave rocks. It has the potential of being really cool or a hideous disaster. Either way it will be entertaining.  Cheesy

Actually. my next door neighbors have a small propane patio heater on their deck but they have gone away on vacation. I have been leaving messages to their son. Im sure he will let me borrow it but I just have to get a hold of him.

Well, it's coming along OK. All I really need now is a couple more pieces of hardware, a flame suit for the test and an insurance agent with a taste for risk. Photos to come.

If someone finds a heater I can supply some propane. I have a spare grill tank in the garage that needs filling, so if needed I can fill it and bring it along.

Lemme know...

Anyone with a spare tank, throw it in the trunk. I guess we will have to cross our fingers to see if any of these science experiments pan out or someone can "borrow" one for a night. The neighbor will never miss it. Just return it under the cover of darkness Saturday night!

You can always trade extra propane for the women. Although as a heat source it's about a toss up. I recomend one of those cheap directional heads for a propane bottle. It you've already got the bottle that is.[/img]

Contractors use these a lot at remote sites or before they have power in a building. I don't have the heater part, and the car is filling up fast with stuff I'll be hauling over there, but I'll get a tank filled and toss it in the front seat if I have to.

Somebody must have one of these heater heads? Two would be even better since they cover a small area.
