I had a buzz noise on 3890KHz that was bleeding over and heard on 3885, a nuisance.  It had several other spurs scattered around the 75M band.  The one on 3937 was the strongest.   I knew it was outside my house and I sniffed around all over the neighborhood for a couple weeks.  It finally turned out to be the "Smartmeter" at the AC service entrance.  It was sort of like not noticing that elephant in the closet!  Duh!  Grin

Just a FYI to watch out for this.  I sent an email to the power company....we'll see where this goes.

Odds are they will pull and replace the meter at the exact time you are installing an o/s or backing up something..

Oh yes...or worse...when wife is doing something important!  BTW I have heard from the power company, but awaiting as to when/if they will replace that spurious meter.
