DAYUM! Talk about 'up close and personal'!

Gives the term 'zorch' a whole new meaning.

One 5th of July (I can't remember what year) I watched one of the two turbine transformers from canal electric down on cape cod go up. I was on my friends back porch down on sagamore beach. It was quite the sight, gigantic explosion, huge fireball that scorched most of the side of the building... too bad I didn't have a video camera I was but a young JN at the time.
