I don't know Bruce. It looks more like being really pissed off  :x  rather than being really cool!  Cool

I remember in my high school days that was just it.  He was a big hero.  He was really cool precisely because he was pissed off and anti-social and had no direction.

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

James Dean was cool.  Who knows, he might have been a closet AMer!

We visit the James Dean Festival in Fairmount, Indiana nearly every year!
About 50 miles or so from Ft, Wayne.  Lots and lots of cool cars including great classic lead sled Mercurys.

As a matter of fact, we have a couple of those cool rides in the family.  Check out 50s-60s Nostalgia page on my web pages. (url on QRZ)

Hey kids, rock and roll
Rock on
Hey kids, it's no use
Sleepin'
Showtime, summertime blues
Jump up and die in your blue suede shoes
Hey kids, rock and roll
We're gonna rock on

Where do we go from here
Which is the way that's clear

Still looking for that blue jean baby queen
Prettiest girl I've ever seen
See her die on my movie screens
Every day

Rock on
Hey kids, rock and roll
Rock on
Cool my soul
Hey kids it's no use
Dreamin'
Lost out, cracked out
Find out what it's all about
Hey kids, rock and roll
We're gonna rock on

Where do we go from here
Which is the way that's clear
Where do we go from here
Which is the way that's clear

Still lookin' for that blue jean baby queen
Prettiest girl I've ever seen
See her die on my movie screens
Every day

Rock on

Hey kids, rock and roll
Hey kids, rock and roll
Rock on

Rock on Hey kids, rock and roll
Rock on
Hey kids, rock on
Hey kids, rock and roll
Rock on

I'm digging Project Greenlight.  Bravo, Thursdays at 10pm ET.  Some real theatre.  This season's director is Clu Gulager's son John, the quintessential passive aggressive mope.

If you want to watch a $2.5 million slow mo train wreck that'll make you glad you don't work in Hollywood, this is the show for you.

Precisely why people use ssb. If they had direction, purpose, and a reason for existance, they'd further the state of the art of Existential Amplitude Modulation

To Be Cool, I always measured "Cool" relative to Marlon Brando, who I think always personified the "Ultimate" Cool... Cheesy Initiated it and brought it to the Screen...then down through time it has had many faces and many personality traits....

Huey Lewis and the News added a great page to "Cool" their version of it...Music wise...
