Don't know if this comes on the air  the same time nationwide, but it's on tonight here at our local PBS station.  Sounds like it might be interesting.  Besides, too much QRN to play radio.

MONDAY, APRIL 11: 8:00-9:00 p.m.  Central Time
American Experience "The Great Transatlantic Cable"
This film documents the grueling attempts to manufacture a cable long enough to span the continents, and the challenges of laying it across the ocean floor.

I think this show was aired before. I saw it then and its very good......history at its best.

They have been airing spots for it here also. 9 PM on PBS here in New Jersey.
