Take a look at this balun and the comments from users...I remain confused and would encourage comments from the AM FORUM..

I would want to use this on beverage antennas fed with 75 Ohm Rg-59...Thanks   Steve KL7OF

Please mind it is for receive only. I should just wind one on a ring core, super simple.
You want it for receive only?
You want to isolate primary and secundary?
Which frequency?

Id google w0btu and read his take on things.

I'd not buy the devise, I'd build it... at least one would know what and how the balun was built.

I have built several 9:1 isolated secondary baluns on toridal cores for beverage (RX ONLY) antennas..Based  on ON4UN design.......2 are still in use after 20 yrs..I just happened to see these and was curious what the thoughts were on this design on a green board...and if any one has tried one...

I second w0btu.  He's a plethora of in NFL for beverage, beverage on ground, and associated info.

Also, the topband mailing list is a good place to ask this type of question.  Towertalk being a close second.
