Hello.
Planning on building a class e tx, have most of the parts on hand (IXDD414´s 11n90) but I dont have any 43 ferrite tubes.
I do have a bunch of FB77-1024 ferrites, any idea if that would work?
I plan to build a 100w carrier, 160m tx, single ended push-pull, using 2 11n90´s in each module.
The power supply will be based on a 64vct 500w transformer.

Hi Tommy, you should have said as I've got a load of them here and could have sent them along with the Modulator.

If you get stuck let me know...

Stretchy.

They are available from Mouser for sure.  If you can't find the part number, I will try to dig it out.  I've bought these from Mouser in the past, so I have the number somewhere.

Let me know.

Sounds like a good project !

I just received an order from Mouser that included the cores used in the WA1QIX 400 watt Class E RF deck.

623-2643102002 is the Mouser part number for the #43 Round Cable Core;  $1.51 each in quantity ten or more.  I had them from Mouser in two days after placing the order.

Thanks.
I usually order from Elfa, but their price was $5.88 each plus shipping.
I´ll check out Mouser, and try to come up with other components I´ll need in the future, to get over their free shipping limit.
In the meantime, I might as well experiment with the #77 tubes and see if I can get it working.

I had been wondering about this,  wanted to ask the experts if there are benifits to other mixes, maybe at different frequencies?  Or is good ol' 43 pretty much optimal?
