Brrrr- it's cold in the shack! Fire up the BIG RIG

Ok,

So I bid and won on a NYS auction for "server racks" which are in fact "frame racks" as opposed to "cabinet racks", or other 4 post racks. I happen to prefer the frame racks, and like to put shelves in, and if I use a rack for things like receivers, I like the ease of access to the back. Of course for building things like buzzardly AM rigs and massive linears, monster Class E, you want the enclosed 4 post type rack...

The good part is that the NYS warehouse for a lot of the stuff they sell is within a mile of the /2 QTH. Well, I bid and got no less than 13 racks for one money. I want 3 maybe 4. My plan for at least one of them is to slice and dice and turn them into the parts for a FB OM enclosure/cabinet for some receivers like the R-390 and SP-600, my BC-779 (or is that BC-799??) aka SP-200 which is a two unit PS & Receiver set up.

So, that leaves 9 very nice, black, wide frame racks with very good bases sitting around. Anyone got any great ideas? You want one?? Come and get one, or two, etc... Cheesy  Please.

always too far away. Well you can always use them for other things, like a coat rack, supports for "curtain and rail", Guillotene frame..

...too many "coat racks" already.  Roll Eyes
And, they're not particularly good for hanging laundry either...
