Vikings Rule!

« on: February 16, 2016, 05:19:38 PM »

I have a modulation transformer removed from a RCA BTA-1R1 (2x 4-400As by 2x 4-400As) 1KW AM BC TX for trade.

The xmfr looks near new and was apparently replaced shortly before the TX was decommissioned.  It is RCA pn M486140-1, pri 2560 CT @ .25A, sec 2100 @ .31A , 30 to 10000 cps, manufactured by Electro Engineering Works.

I would like to trade for a BA RX in very good cosmetic and operating condition.  Looking for something that is hollow state with a product detector.  Would prefer Hallicrafters, Hammarlund or Collins.

The xfmr is located near Tyler in East Texas.  This beast must weigh near 100 lbs (I can't lift it) so shipping would be problematic.  Would be willing to meet someone half way up to a couple of hundred miles.
