Brrrr- it's cold in the shack! Fire up the BIG RIG

I bought an SDR-1000 a while back. Never even opened the boxes. The ad was here on AMfone.

Too many things going on, way, way too many projects, no time. No point in holding on to it when someone could
have it on the air!

This ought to be "turnkey" except for your computer (will run fine with the average XP box or better) and the software download, I think the cables are in the box. Has an external Firewire interface box (goes to the computer, probably via the parallel port, not sure, but can look need be) Has the "high power" final.

The previous owner was using it, so it ought to run OK FB. But, since I have never even taken it out of the box, it has to be sold "AS-IS".

The unit is at the main QTH, while I am at the WB2GCR/2 QTH, but for a serious party I can get the info on the firewire box, and maybe even open the box with the unit and take pix - need be. This is a good way to get rolling with SDR. If you've heard Eric, WB2CAU on the air, he ran this same setup for quite a few years, so you know how it sounds FB on AM.

Asking $540 including shipping. Unlikely I will do any trades/partial trades, but ask if you wish. Will take Paypal, no problem. This is somewhat less than I paid, but time has gone by too...

PM with questions, please.
