See page 78.  More for the space challenged.  Nice discussion.

The ads are lovely...

The ant is not so much space saving as it is an interesting approach to the coaxial antenna, like a bazooka?
I am antenna challenged.
But this is also similar to Mosley's approach to traps, but they did use an actual coil.

He mentions doing this with coax for longer ants, at lower freqs... not quite clear how it would get tuned, say on
40m and 80m. But it might be a neat way to go.

For a space saver it's pretty good. Tons of good stuff at that americanradiohistory.com.  I had been collecting aluminum for some time now and have more than enough for the OMTA (Offset Multiband Trapless Antenna) from the October 1995 QST. Here is a pdf link to the article with updated measurements.

And the articles so plentiful. Alas today's mags are more oatmeal than red meat. I have been reading those in spare time and I sure don't miss paying for new magazines that have 2 or 3 interesting articles and 100 pages of ads. These things reflect a standard of living allright.

A more direct link to the subject may be help full, instead of 190 pages of advertisements..

I appreciate you concern.  However, there is no easy way for me to select and post one or two pages from an issue.

It is great vintage stuff.  You must be willing to fish a bit.

The poster lists the page. So when you bring up the main pdf, go to the top and change the page number from 1 to whatever he/she lists. See attached. This way you don't have to scroll through a bunch of pages.
