Collins-designed single sideband adapters, pre-CV-591, this is the HEAVY and well-built CV-157/URR sideband adapter. Designed for the Signal Corps but used by the Navy as well, mainly in conjunction with the R-390 and R-390A receivers. Built by Transcom Electronics in the 1950s. Used 44 tubes, weighs 105 pounds. Physically good condition, but I have not tested it electrically, due to lack of time and ancillary equipment. I can take more pics for you if you'd like them, with the cover off, etc. Must sell due to vehicle issues that need to be funded. Asking $350 obo. I WILL NOT ship this unit, it is very heavy and dense, and shipping would cost a fortune as well as the packing material it would require. Pickup in 22630 only. Also, I will be going to the Harrisburg PA hamfest on July 4th, I can bring it there for you to inspect if you let me know ahead of time.
