This has just come in from The Slab Bacon

As time is drawing near I feel that it is now time to make the
announcement. The Timmonium hamfest will be on Saturday, April 2nd thisyear and once again I will be having the "Post Timmonium AMers Party" thatSaturday. The only requirement for attendance is that I have had to haveheard your voice on AM! For the last 3 years the party has been a great success, and I have enjoyed having everyone as much as everyone has enjoyed coming. There will be lots of good food, refreshments and set-ups. The only thing I ask is that if you prefer a particular brand of golden beverage, bring some, I will have plenty of everything else.

I would like to get some kind of advanced head count so I can get a feel
for how much food to prepare. If possible (although not necessary) please
rsvp by email --kb3ahe@starpower.net-- (remove dashes)or by telefonium
410-668-0437. If you will need directions, I will be more than happy to
email them to you.  Hope to see you all soon!!

This one is making me feel like testing my TS480 out on AM so you can say you've heard me!

Sounds like a fun time, you fellas enjoy.  The wife has approved the trip to Timonium this year with the understanding that as soon as we leave the fester, she gets to take me to the inner harbour for some more "womanly" interests.

Ah what the heck, it'll be fun anyway, and y'all will know me - I'll be the one in the wheelchair (with no ham antennas!) being pushed around by the wife.  (Hmmmmmm . . . something tells me I won't be the only one there fitting that description, but ah heck, it's all good!)

No problem, OM.

I'm looking forward to Timonium too as well as the food Slab  is talking about in his post.

How many guys are coming from down your way?  Make sure you tell them that Slab needs to have heard their voice on AM to attend.

I am definately having the party again this year, But I dont even know what the date for the Timmonium fester is yet.
This is last years announcement. Other than confirming the actual date, all of the info is still correct I will let everyone know all of the particulars soon.
Gary, I know it takes you a while to get to some of your emails, but this one is about a year late!
I am, as always, looking foreward to seeing everyone that makes it here. I will post the exact date and the rest of the particulars sometime in February. Hope to see you all there.

Frank recently said --
Gary, I know it takes you a while to get to some of your emails, but this one is about a year late!

Don't feel special, Frank, I've got three emails out to him that he hasn't answered.
No where near a year's time tho.

My soon got married on Apr 2, 2005 so I am afraid I won't be able to make it last year Frank. Maybe the year before that will be good next year.

Mighty thoughtless of him to get married on a hamfest day, Dave.... I hope you counselled him accordingly.

Well, I did my homework and looked up the date for this years Timmonium fester.
Which means that the party this year will be Saturday March 25, 2006. This should serve as advanced notice for those who wish to attend. I will post another notice as time gets closer. Be there or be square! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I'll be there this year, 2006, though I wonder how this thread fell through the spatial time-warp continuim? Who cares anyway? A good time is to be had by all who attend last year, this year, and in following years. Hopefully this thread will continue for many years to come!

Post Timonium Pharty? What's going on? I checked the posts on this one and it looks as if it's 4-5 years old.

Am I missing something here? Will some kind sole fill this OB in?
