Hello AM Lover,
Jean F6AQK and Fortunato 9H1ES and me had nice qso this morning!
Sorry but 3710 khz is not free, digitale mode signal on that freq.

Therefore I am happy, I got a crystal 3660 khz from Jan PA3HCO.
I have monitoring these freq. some mornings, sometimes ssb around this freq.
But... but often cw a little higher....

So we will first try this freq. 3660 khz early mornings,
when 3710 khz is in use early mornings by digitale mode!

I made some recordings this morning.
But from a webreceiver: Location: Grenoble, Rhone-Alpes, France
Hi, hi... handy for me, I can evenso monitoring my signal there... hi, hi...

Here already a recording, made between 06.00 - +/- 06.30 hour.

On my receiver, this are the reports:
- F6AQK, Jean, max. S9 +20, good and nice audio
- 9H1ES, Fortunato, max. S6, audio can louder

When I want to hear Fortunato, I must listen in narrow receiving.
For Jean I can listen in wide receiving.

Evenso I heard many AM lovers on +/- 3875 khz from the USA.
Signals were weak to fair, sorry.... I have no calls or names.

Have a nice Easter weekend,

Henk

Hello AM Lovers,

This morning I heard our clockradio at 05.50.
So I go out my bed and making Hot Tea.

At the background in our kitchen I listen with the KPO 2100.
While I wait on the Hot water... hi, hi...

Just before 06.00 I heard already Jean and Fortunato.
On the KPO 2100 without ext. ant. only telescoopant.!

When the Tea was ready I walking (with a cup of Tea) to my studio.
Heating the tubes, starting the pc to listen evenso: http://sdr.radioandorra.org/
Such can be very handy, a Webreceiver....

When I heard Jean talking on my Grundig 1400 Sat., I calling after him.
Did I hear, after me, it good?..... I heard Jan, but very weak!
Hi, hi... but very loud on the Webreceiver (Andorra)!

Here are my results from our nice qso in AM on 3660 khz this morning:
- F6AQK, Jean, max. S9 +20 very nice audio
- 9H1ES, Fortunato, max. S5, weak audio, sounding a bit strange
- PA3HCO, Jan, max. S2, sometimes his signal were complete gone by me

We had a very nice qso without ssb stations till +/- 06.20 hour this morning.
Then Italian ssb station were comming on 3660 khz.....

Maybe there is better freq. to use AM early mornings?
But on 3710 is not possible, still the 'noise' sound is hearing on that freq.
So I think we can stay firstly on 3660 khz (or we can try 3615 khz).
Mostly every morning I monitoring 3660 khz, often the freq. is free till +/- 06.15.
When I am in my studio I take a look on my pc screen while I listen to the Webreceiver.
Often I see signals around 3700 khz and I see a white ribe (signal!) on +/- 3710 - 3714!
And mostly between 3610 - 3625 the band is free...... and cleaner then 3660.....

Hi, hi... yes I am very happy with my 3660 Jan crystal.
Therefore I did mention Jans (new) call: Papa Alva Tree Hotel Crystal Oscar
Hi, hi.... Jean mentioned this morning: Papa Alva Tree Hotel Crystal Osscilator

Fortunato, sorry but your last transmission were not good to hear in my studio.
Conditions going down and some ssb on/near the freq.
You were using your ART 13 I understand!

Oh Yes... I heard sometimes a weak carrier at the end, but no audio on 3660 khz.
Perhaps the ssb stations were tuning, because later I heard them on 3660.

Oke, AM Lovers, thats all and thanks for the fine AM qso,

Henk
