Fictitious, but an interesting clip!

A fictional narrative set in 1961 about a man who finds his father’s old ham radio in the garage and intercepts a call for help from a cosmonaut orbiting the earth. Created for senior-year independent study project, Rice University, Houston, Texas.

Well, sheet. If I got an SX-43 instead of my SX-42, I would have a transceiver  Smiley

Entertaining vid.

Amazing what one number off will do for you  Smiley!   If I remember right, the movie Frequency did something along the same line.  Forget exactly what it was, but it was not quite right!  Still entertaining though.

The washer/dryer was confusing, too recent. Neat little story though.
