Well, if I must ( you must, you must - Mel Brooks reference)..anyway I am using a Thordarson 20D82 driver transformer to connect the 2 6L6GC's of an Altec A-333 hi fi amp clone - to two 811A's.  I bought a NOS unit on the Bay, and took it out of the box only to find the sheet that was furnished told me almost nothing.  Then I turned up an old RCA Ham Tips from 1951 with a similar modulator featured, and fortunately the schematic spelled out which wire goes where.

don't forget a grid to grid load resistor to smooth things over ... a few kohm, a few Watts are well spent
