Hello AM Lovers,

The sun shines into my studio and temp. outdoor +/- 5 degrees above zero. Grin
And this afternoon I heard AM on Ten, but not strong...
First I heard:
- 29.000 W2VW, david, max. S6, a pity he did not heard me

But later I worked:
- 29020 K1GUP, Jerry, max. S5, many fading
- 29000 KB8U, Russ(ell), max. S4, many fading

Incredibly they heard me!!
The 'power' is +/- 10 Watt from the Yeasu FT 901 DM in AM mode.
My transmit antenna Outdoors: +/- 25 mtrs wire, nearly horizontale, +/- 11 mtrs high.

I made a little recording from Russ with the Inverted V Indoorant.
Its hanging under the roof and swr on Ten 1:1.
This antenna is connect with the Yeasu FRG 7000 only for recording.

While I type this, I heard a station on 29050 in AM talking.
Time now +/- 16.30 hour by me and I try to copy his call...
I guess its K1GUP Jerry now on that freq., but conditions are now poor...

Jerry and Russ: thanks for the nice qso in AM on Ten,

Henk, pe1mph

Sorry to have missed you Henk. Receiving conditions here on Beachwood Mountain are poor today.

Tower is nested due to high winds. Neighbors fired up plasma television which makes a giant rf mess.
