Hello AM Lovers,

Today I heard again many AM between 28.990 - 29.000.
I have been listening during a long time to Pete, W(A)2CWA on 29.010.
Several times I give cq to him and tried to get in contact...
Pity for me.... Pete were very busy with other stations!

When Pete were on air I heard him evenso with my Indoor V-antenna.
Hi, hi... I were listening to him on 3 different antennas!
- Horizontale wire +/- 25 meters long, hanging south to north
- Inverted V, hanging under the roof
- Long wire +/- 45 meters long, hanging north to south

All wires tuned for Ten (swr 1:1) meter. Grin

I missed no word from Pete!!
For example, when his signal were weak on the 25 meters wire....
He had a good signal on the 45 meters wire...
And the Inverted V gives evenso ups & downs in his signal.

Hopefull Pete received me next time. Smiley

Greetings,

Sorry I missed your call Henk. The frequency was very busy at times with many stations calling at the same time. Worked a few but then had to QRT for a business phone call. Was only running about 70 to 80 watts today and the beam was only at the 30 foot height. Will try to get on again over the next several days.
