Hello AM lovers,

This afternoon I heard Larry talking & talking on Ten.
He were on 29.040 ofcourse in AM.
After a some Larry-qso's (The Larry-show), I tried to get in contact...
K1IED heard me (again) and I made a recording.
He has max. S8 and evenso I heard him with the Indoor ant.
I made a little recording, time +/- 16.25 in Holland, with the indoorant.

Before our qso I heard station on 29.000 with fair signal.
I could not get the call, he asking a few times if the freq. were in use!
A pity he did not heard me...

Thats all (till now: 16.40) I have received on Ten mtrs.

Larry thanks for the nice qso,

Henk, pe1mph

I heard you when you spoke to Larry! Unfortunately the signal was to weak to give you a call!

Peter!
Many thanks for your report.
Sometimes (mostly!) I can not believe how far my HF goes....
Because I transmit with only +/- 8 à 10 Watts into a wire.
The end-feeded wire hanging from South to North.
Only about 8 à 10 mtrs hight, South to North.
And (mostly) when I hear Chuck or Larry I can talk with them!

But evenso I can not believe I did hear both with my Indoorantenna.
Two pieces of wire (Inverted V) hanging under the roof!

This afternoon we came back from Lauwersoog, we were walking there by the sea.
After eating together fish we were sitting in our livingroom.
While we were drinking coffee I listen to the repeater on 29.620 (fm).
Today (Sunday) the signal were poor, most I could not hear....
Therefore I were today not qrv on Ten, maybe a next time.
I want not to be every day on air, I can evenso listen to AM stations on Ten.
For example when Chuck or Larry have AM qso's I enjoy from both stations.

Peter from Sweden, thanks for your report! Cheesy

Greetings,

Henk, PE1MPH
