A little old, this past spring, but a good show of conditions.

Loved watching the videos.  This is about all the 6 meter AM action I'll probably ever get.  I'm still trying to make a QSO after a year of trying.   Huh

Looks like I missed some good openings over the summer. Cry

When looking for 6 meter openings, I had the best luck monitoring with a scanner checking the MUF .. I found some freqs around 40 Mhz and higher that were in use commercially..(Railroad, forest service, even a Pepsi distributor in Texas) ..... I had an outdoor speaker...When these freqs started to hop, I would call CQ..The old Analog TV freqs used to indicate E skip as well....Most  newer 6 meter rigs have a scan feature.    It takes a lot of monitoring these days...It was a lot easier 2 and 3 cycles past...Sta with it...Good Luck

You could try an old scanner and park it on 6m

Very good suggestions!  I also appreciate the link--most helpful.  Florida just "stinks" for 6 meters AM but I will be persistent!

Thanks!
