Don't have VLF receive capability, you can hear the SAQ broadcast (17.20 kc) on the following web site:  " http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/ "...

Just copy/paste the above site address to your browser, on a computer connected to the internet of course, and tune the online receiver to 17.2 kc in cw mode.

If you are not familiar with the operation of this site, I suggets you look at it before trying to use it so as to become familiar with the "how to do it?" questions...

Not to worry about some one else grabbing control of the receiver, it's a mulit-user operation... I've seen over 175 users on this site (at once) and never lost my personal chanel control...   Matter of fact, I have the receiver site on the computer, running in the back-ground as I type (one finger) this text...

Great place for an insite to what European hams  & SWL's hear daily...

Good luck...

That's going to be a tough one from the USA, especially with the big storm and the associated lightning static approaching the east coast.

The web SDR site has a bunch of receivers available around the world. The best two for amateur radio listening in EU are located in the UK. Both must be located in rural areas, as the noise floor on both is very low. I've heard USA SSB stations rag chewing on 160 meters on one! Be sure your Java is up to date for best results.
