  Today was the 2nd contact I had with this unique piece of history. Read about it at www.b29radio.com
My first contact was on 05/14/14 and the 2nd today 5/19/14 on 7.293 AM.
They are using an Art 13 transmitter and a BC-348.
KM4RC is the station call (B-29)
K3NT Bob was the radio man.
See if you can find their departure schedule from Lancaster CA and try to catch them on 7.293 AM

I read your post with great interest. This Tuesday our Canadian Lancaster Bomber, one of two in the world that is airworthy set off for England by way of Hamilton to Goose Bay to Iceland to England where they have arrived safely to begin a tour flying with the only other airworthy Lanc in the world. Yesterday I was thinking of all that entails and emailed the Museum at Mt Hope (Canadian Warplane Heritage) suggesting they include just such activity with the Lancs flights in future. So far no reply. Lancs original radios would have been T1154 and R1155 but could be in later years they also used Mk 19s. I don't know that just a guess. I believe they are now equipped with more modern sets but the concept is still good. Worked VRA Lancaster would be a nice QSL to have. I have my Arc 5 stuff working on 80 and 160 so I am ready. Wish they were!
