Here's an easy way to tame the bandwidth of the Inovonics 222 AM Limiter straight from Inovonics.
Requires changing around 28 resistors and 1 capacitor. Thanks to Inovonics founder Jim Wood for supplying the information. PDF file attached.

There's another way that involves fewer components.  Change C17-C25 and C27 (10 caps) from 3.3nF to 6.8nF.  This moves the filter cutoff freq. down to 4.8kHz.  I verified it on SPICE and ran the idea past Jim Wood.  He said that would be fine.
