Hello,

Has anyone found a way to reduce the "clang" when the t/r relay is activated in the matchbox?
Maybe a slab of metal under the relay to keep the cabinet from amplifying the "clang"?

Thanks,

It seems to me that mounting it on rubber grommets so that it is isolated completely might be a better bet.

I've never tried that, in the spirit of full disclosure Smiley

Clangs & Clunks are the sounds of heavy metal Grin

Much better than rogerbeepers & reverbs. Roll Eyes

Mine use to buzz.  So I put DC on the coil and it quieted right down.  If your just clunks that is a good thing but if it bothers you some acoustical isolation in the mount would tame it down.
