The installation of the new plate choke B+ bypass caps may have solved my issues on 10 meters. I've had several very nice QSOs this morning around 29.000 Mc with no sign of the earlier unpleasantness (ie "pegging" plate current). Of course, still have loading cap issues for 80/40 which will have to wait until new parts come in via the postal service.
