6AQ8 aka ECC85?

Anyone got any thoughts on this tube?
It's got a shield between the two sections, which makes it attractive for me.

Anyone with experience with the eastern Europe versions, ruskie and the like??
Same tube or different (I suspect similar but not the same)?

I have holes to fill. My cupboard is bare. No, not bear, bare. Cheesy

The ECC85 is a very common double triode with 6,3 V/ 435 mA  fillament. Most of the old FM tuners are equiped with them in the tuner part , as an ocillator / mixer tube . In old TV sets they use a PCC85 ,same tube but with a 9V / 300 mA  fillament .  How many pcs  do you need ?

did not see the shield in the 6BQ7 tube... have to print out the sheets, can't seem to get the hang of doing comparisons on a screen. Maybe I need a bigger screen, or two screens? Whatever. Guess I will look again. Not sure yet what the diff is between the tubes, but there has to be one. Maybe it is like the 6SN7 vs. 6SL7, etc...
