Hello AM Lovers,Nice conditions again on Ten today!
First I had a nice talk on 29020 khz with
Rob W1AEX, max. S7.
Then, +/- 16.00 hour by me, I fall nearly from my studiochair....
I tought 'A locale station from Dokkum comming on Ten...'.
Hi, hi... but
Chuck K1KW came on 29020 khz in AM!
His signal all the time in 'the red': max. S9 +10!
Sometimes I got Rob and Chuck the best on my ant. 25 mtrs.
But sometimes on the other ant. the end-feeded ant. 50 mtrs long!
For example, from Rob I missed no word by receiving on both ant.
Later, at +/- 18.20!! by me, I heard
Larry K1IED on 29040 talking.
I wait and after his qso I say:
'Hello Larry how are you...'?He came back for me and we had a short talk.
Larry had good signal, max. S8, and no problem to receive him.
But... sometimes his signal dropping down to S2.
At the end of our nice qso we had a
'breaker' on the freq.
This AM station asking me friendly to go 10 up, to
29050 khz.
First I heard him with S7, but conditions dropping fast down!!
A pity, I did not get his call and name.... sorry!
I running only 8 Watts....

Dokkum, The NetherlandsNOW: 19.00 hour by me in the evening, I still can hear Larry on 29040 khz (max. S3!) in AM!!
