Hi Everyone,

The transmitter project I mentioned several months ago continues.  I've started to look for the air capacitors for the output.  Many of the caps listed on Ebay and other sites are EF Johnson, and have a model number XXX-XX-X.  Very few of the sellers have the ability to measure the cap.  Does anyone have a Johnson catalog or know of another source to decode the values based on the model number (if that's even possible)?

Thanks,
Mike

Try this:
http://www.mrshirt.com/PAGES/jcd.html

Also industrial electronic catalogs from the 60's and 70's that handled the EF Johnson capacitors would be a good source. I would even check the ad pages in the back of the ARRL Handbooks from the 60's and 70's.
