Back at y'all! Tnx for greets, kind words.  Driving 15-20 mph for 45 min exhausting in localized ice squall aftermath. Roads closed, life in the Catskill Mtns., chump change as hills go, but they have their moments.  Back home ok, in bed for long winter's nap.

Wonder what the $1500 Victrola looked and sounded like? Easily multiply by 20 this Christmas.

Grand kids have come, wreaked havoc with merriment and gone.
Traditional Champaign drained and nap over.

Closest gift to radio is a blue-tooth add on keyboard for the iPad.
Warmest gifts were snuggly blankets and day-throws for Susan.

Merry Christmas to All and May you have a Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas to all.  Sitting in the shack with the boatanchors warming up and listening to Christmas music on the 1951 Westinghouse AM/FM radio.  What more could a man want.

$1500 Victrola! For that could you not have hired the Met for a birthday party?

Away from radios, but not computers.  Christmas is fading, after Christmas duck, now thoughts turning to shortbread and what other snares might still lie out in the kitchen.
