Hello AM Lovers,

This afternoon I heard some AM stations from the USA.
A pity on the signals a very heavy fading!
I received AM on: 29020, 29050 and 29070 but I didn't copy calls.
But on 29040 I heard W2VW (David) with less fading.
I heard him talking with Mervin G8TBG.
But I couldn't heard Meving... totaly nothing!
First I made a little recording from W2VW (1) then I called him.
And he heard me....
I made not a long qso, because I had other things to do at home....
But nice we had a short qso on 29040 in AM.
I used low power (+/- 8 Watt) from my old Yeasu FT 901 DM.
During our qso the signal from W2VW going 'up and down': S2 - S9+10.
You can hear it on recording nr. 2.

Thanks for the qso on Ten,

Henk, pe1mph

Ten AM!
Last weeks sometimes very good conditions on Ten.
Thanks for let me in on the freq.!
I heard you talking about a BC 610.
Many years I had such transmitter but I sold it.
Now my old BC 610 stands in an army musea: http://www.bevrijdingsmuseum.nl/

Again thanks for the qso! Smiley
