Submitted to ITU-R WP5a by the ARRL;

"To maintain the relevance and functionality of the International Morse code by adding a character corresponding to the printed character “#”, variously known as a thorpe, octothorpe, pound sign, or hash."

No date, no link reference. I couldn't find any reference in the current agenda items for WRC-15.
But, in today's world, the "#" should have a character reference in the International Morse Code, http://morsecode.scphillips.com/morse.html

I agree with relevant characters being added. Also need the backslash so that file directories can be specified.

Good point. I thought it was already there, but it's not. Only the forward slash is there. Maybe they should include the ampersand (&) too.

How about a special CW character for, "You're tree top tall, caw mawn."      Wink

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.
