It's alive. IT'S ALIVE!!!

Just finished a chat with W5VB on 29.000. The band is open but no one is around but Jeff and I. Found out how tricky this Valiant is to get tuned on 10m. Putting out 100 watts of carrier. Jeff reported no issues with my audio. The R388 seems plenty sensitive on this band.

Where were you last night at 20:43 when I was on with Paul K8IO?

Established contact with 8 watts and antenna at 35'.

Came back 10 minutes later with stuff setup the right way and talked for about 20 minutes.

Trying to get the shack back together. Been working on the R388. Its back in the rack now. Can't use a Valiant without a receiver.
