I just got these at a reasonable price. They appear to be made by Miessner and are numbered L202 through L208. They use the large banana plugs at 4 inch spacing. The wire looks about 12 gauge.

I figured to use them for a tuner or to build a multi-band transmitter.

Any ideas about what they came out of and how much power they can safely handle? They are well lacquer coated.

I just couldn't pass them up.

My best guess that they would have been used in a Wilcox transmitter.

I find some pictures of Wilcox transmitters on Google but no pictures that would include the coils. Any leads?

Thanks,

Greg

Ahh...that's where they came from! Nice transmitter and great restoration.

I'll check to see if he needs them, original use in the right gear should trump me maybe using them in some future project.

Thanks much!
